Title: The Black Stallion's Ghost
Author: Walter Farley

It is an exciting book about Alec Ramsay, a young jockey, and his horse, The Black Stallion. I recommend reading it. The summary on the back reads

"Nightmare in the Everglades. When Alec rides the Black into the Everglades one misty morning, he doesn't expect to see another living soul- much less a mysterious horseman on a ghostly grey mare. Alec is intrigued by the strange rider and accepts an invitation to his isolated house in the swamp. But as Alec learns more about his host, he grows uneasy—and with good reason. The stranger's fear of a supernatural curse has driven him to the brink of insanity. By the time Alec realizes that the man is not only mad but dangerous, it's too late. The stranger has lured Alec and the Black on a deadly chase through the heart of the Everglades—and there may be no way out!"

The book is packed full of details that allow the reader to live out the experience in their mind. It has amazing fictional characters that endure great things. It sent chills up my spine to read it, and that's all I'm going to tell you about this marvellous book. You'll have to read it to find out more.

Title: Dog Days

And if you don't spend every second outdoors, people think there's something wrong with you. But the truth is, I've always been more of an indoor person all day playing video games and got only 1 hour of sleep.

Title: Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Author: Jeff Kinney

This book is about a boy named Greg Heffley who is having a horrible time with middle school. His parents are crazy! For example, his mom calls him Honey Bunches and other baby names. His dad hates all teenagers. On Halloween night he stands in some bushes with a bucket of water and when a teenager passes he soaks him. His brother Rodrick is a trickster. Once he woke Greg up at 3 in the morning and said it was time for school. Greg was making a lot of noise when he went down to get cereal. His dad screamed at him for eating Cheerios at 3 in the morning. He blamed it on Rodrick, but his dad just thinks he is crazy. He has a little brother Manny that Greg was excited about having since Rodrick always pushed around Greg, but ever since Manny came into the family, his parents treat Manny as if he were a prince and Greg seemingly is left out in the cold.

The book is humorous as it makes one rethink family relationships. The Heffley family will make anyone’s family look normal by comparison. For endless laughs, put the Diary of a Wimpy Kid on the must read list in addition to the other four books in the series.
